Overview

We are a technology services company offering a range of software products for personal, small business and enterprise use with a focus on customer data privacy. The following paragraphs describe what data we collect, why we collect it and how our software platform handles user data. User data can encompass user-identity data such as name and phone number, credit-card information, web traffic data, software application performance data, metadata that can be obtained about how the software is being used and data accessed, processed or generated by our software applications. We clarify below which of these data we collect from you and/or share with any third party vendors. As our product offerings evolve over time, we may need to collect additional information to provide a more enriching user experience. We do not intend to sell any of your data to anybody.

What personal data we collect

Your primary point of access to our platform is the QuICK user account that you are required to create. Once you download QuICK, you will be asked to register, i.e create an account with us. At the time of registration we will need your username, password, phone number and email address. This information is provided by you directly to us. Your account information is saved on our servers and is used for the sole purpose of transacting with you. Few other installation related details are also recorded on our servers such as the MAC address of the computer, time of installation etc. Once you select the products that you would like to purchase from us, you will also be providing your credit card information which may/may not be saved in your account profile depending on the payment plan you choose. Subscription models may save the credit card information or other payment services information such as your paypal ID. Additionally, when you visit our website, we may note your IP address, geolocation, browser, device type, operating system, etc. We may also choose to save any communications (support, feedback, enquiries) that you may engage in with us via any of the available mediums of communication such as email, instant messaging, etc. Some of our apps may generate diagnostic data which may help us with troubleshooting the particular application. This data can be generated and/or sent to us only if you explicitly choose to do so.

How we use your personal data

Your personal information such as username and password hash (we do not save your password as is, but it is converted to a password hash on your side and securely transmitted to our servers) is used to authenticate you and the licenses you may have purchased from us. You may choose to install QuICK on many devices and we may use the IP address and/or MAC address of each device to identify, authenticate and support inter-device communication and staying connected with our servers for updates and notifications. The information collected automatically when you visit our website such as geolocation, device or browser type is used to manage our business operations such as website traffic load balancing, monitoring security, troubleshooting performance glitches, etc. When you provide credit card information or applicable form of payment information to make a purchase, we may share the necessary details with banks or ACH (Automatic Clearing Houses) and other entities that process payment transactions or provide other financial services to us.

At this time, very basic information is expected of you at registration time. If you do not wish to provide such information, you will not be able to use QuICK and the apps available on it.

Is your Data safe with us?

At Quantireal, we are committed to protecting your personal data. We use a variety of security measures such as password hashing, encrypted data transmission, restricted access and technical controls to safeguard your personal information such as username, password hash, phone number, email address, apps, licensing information, etc. from unauthorized access or use. However, it is important to us that you understand that internet and data storage vulnerabilities do exist and no method is 100% secure. All your other app-generated or accessed data such as files, photos, videos etc that you may expose to our apps such as Gnoris never reach the Quantireal servers, unless otherwise explicitly directed by you. These files are stored on your computers and as such it is your responsibility to ensure its safety and security by configuring your firewalls/routers and permissions appropriately.

Deleting your personal information from our servers

You may choose to close your account with us. This means you will no longer be able to avail of any of our apps and services. You can send an email to info@quantireal.com and request for your account to be closed. Certain user data such as credit card information saved on our servers will be deleted permanently after the account balances are settled. Some basic information related to the legacy of your account might still persist on our servers.
